WHAT I AM ENGAGED IN
- Engage in outreach programs such as educational support, career guidance, and mentorship to marginalized and disadvantaged students.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to organize anti-narcotic awareness classes in Attappady tribal areas.
- Undertake community development initiatives, including surveys on socio-economic and health status of Attappady tribals, assess nutritional status of under-five tribal children in collaboration with fellow faculty members.
- Participate in medical camps organized by MES Kalladi College in Attappady tribal block of Palakkad district of Kerala.
- Regularly donate blood during annual blood donation camps at the college
- Conducted research studies on local issues, such as the impact of COVID-19 on the labor market and household income, effectiveness of government policies during the pandemic, impact of COVID-19 on the subjective well-being of migrants. Address issues related to return migration and re-integration into the community
