I am currently employed as an Assistant Professor of Economics at MES Mampad College (Autonomous) in Mampad, Malappuram, Kerala, India. I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Kerala in 2019 and my M.Phil in Economics from Pondicherry Central University in 2009. For the past decade, I have been actively involved in interdisciplinary research, with a focus on various subjects including migration studies, labor economics, happiness studies, inequalities, policy evaluation studies, and social issues affecting vulnerable populations. My recent studies have primarily centered around causal effect relationships using propensity score matching. I have successfully completed 33 research papers over the years, with 15 already published, 18 papers currently under review in various reputed journals. Additionally, I possess 13 years of teaching experience at both the degree and postgraduate level.

Previously, I worked at MES Kalladi College in Mannarkkad, Palakkad, Kerala, India. I am also recognized as a research guide in economics by the University of Calicut, guiding students pursuing PhD degrees in various issues in development economics. I specialize in big data extraction and cleaning for all national representative data sources, not only Indian but also many international data sources. My expertise lies in advanced applied econometrics, particularly in methods used for causal effect relationships in developmental issues. I am proficient in using empirical supporting software such as STATA, R, and Python. Additionally, I serve as a reviewer for several premium journals including the Journal of Public Affairs, Studies in Microeconomics, and Current Psychology. My current research focuses on economic development with an emphasis on labor markets, inequality, crime, corruption, institutional choice, vulnerability, and related topics. My published work has appeared in reputable journals such as the Journal of Public Affairs, Indian Economic Review (Journal of Delhi School of Economics), Journal of Quantitative Economics (Journal of the Indian Econometrics Society), The Indian Journal of Labour Economics (Journal of the Indian Society of Labour Economics), Economic and Political Weekly, Indian Economic Journal (Journal of the Indian Economic Association), Studies in Micro Economics, Journal of Rural Development, Indian Journal of Economics, and Artha Vinjana.
